Aldi has launched a fireworks range and prices start at £1.29
The discounter is already selling its range of fireworks but you'll need to be quick if you want to get your hands on them
ALDI is already getting into the bonfire night spirit with its new range of fireworks - and prices start at £1.29.
The discounter is stocking the bangers three weeks ahead of Guy Fawkes night which isn't until November 5.
Of course, you'll need to be 18 or older to buy the fireworks and they're only available to buy in stores so you can't get them delivered to your door.
Sparklers, firecrackers and an exploding barrel are included in the range where everything costs under £50.
For £1.29 you can get a packet of 21 gold sparklers. They're 10 inches long and lasts up to 45 seconds.
The next best thing we could find was a pack of five sparklers for 50p from Morrisons - or three for £1 - so you'll be saving at least 70p on the dazzlers from Aldi.
The cheeky monkey firework fountain costs £3.99 and promises to light up the sky with gold, red and green sparkles with a "big strobing monkey finish".
Morrisons is stocking a Haunted House fountain for £15 so you're scooping a deal at Aldi.
The TNT barrel costs £9.99 and you'll need to light the string before stepping back and watching it erupt into a silver display for up to 100 seconds.
The Big Show promises 54 shots which shoot up to into the sky bursting with colours - but it will cost you £19.99 for a display that lasts up to 50 seconds.
You set the skies on fire with the Star Striker set which features eight small rockets which cost £5.99.
How do you safely light fireworks?
AS fireworks can be dangerous it is important to be very careful and take precautions on Bonfire Night:
- Make sure that you’re buying your fireworks from somewhere reputable (for example: a supermarket, specialist party retailer etc).
- Do not buy it if the boxes look like they’ve been tampered with or damaged.
- Always read the packet carefully and make sure that the fireworks you buy are suitable for the place where you are going to set them off. Some fireworks can only be bought and used by professionals.
- Just one person should be in charge of fireworks, and this person should be sober.
- Always make you preparing in advance and in daylight.
- You should light fireworks at arm’s length using a taper and stand well back.
- Sparklers - Sparklers can reportedly get five times hotter than cooking oil – so never give them to a child under 5 and make sure to wear gloves when you lit them.
The most expensive product in the range is the Ultimate Finale which includes a huge 132 quick shot fireworks box for £49.99.
Once you've set the box alight, you can take a step back and watch the mix of blue, green an lilac fireworks shoot up in a display that will last up to almost two minutes.
The fireworks went on sale on October 14 and they're part of the Specialbuy range which means that once they're gone, they're gone.
