The budget supermarket is currently selling the retro radio for £30, significantly less than the popular which costs £150 in John Lewis.

We've had a look at what both of the radios offer and they both have similar features.

Firstly, they both have the option of accessing DAB and FM and the ability to pre-programme your favourite radio stations so you can play them at the click of a button.

And if you want to play your own music, both also offer an auxiliary connection so you can connect your phone.

Aldi's version also offers a bluetooth option, making it even easier to play your music.

If you want the bluetooth option with Roberts, you have to pay £180, so you'll make a chunky saving with Aldi.

In terms of design, Roberts' version is slightly more compact and offers up to eight colours, but Aldi's version comes in just three - cream, black, and grey.

If you're looking for a high quality gadget that's going to last a long time, Roberts' would be a great fit. However if you don't want to spend too much money, Aldi's retro radio could be a great option.

You'll have to be quick if you want to pick up the retro radio though as the offer is part of .

This means the gadget is limited edition at the supermarket so once it's gone, it's gone.

As part of the offer the budget supermarket is also selling a jukebox-style speaker for £50, which has two built in stereo speakers and a colour changing lights system.

It's also getting in the bonfire night spirit with the launch of a fireworks range starting at £1.29.
