The whopper special edition pig in blanket was announced by Asda last month.

And while it's more expensive than Aldi's £2.99 offering - pound for pound it's actually a better bargain as it's more than three times the weight.

It's made with over 500g of succulent British pork and wrapped with 100g of sizzling British dry cured streaky bacon rashers - and Asda says it can feed up to 10 people.

And don't worry if you've got a wheat allergy or intolerance, as the giant sausage is entirely gluten-free.

Other retailers have also been announcing their festive offerings for this year.

John Lewis has opened the doors to its Christmas shop where you can create your own pick and mix Quality Street tins.

Aldi now does espresso martini, mince pie and gingerbread latte ice cream.

And you can pick up  Prosecco and pink peppercorn flavoured Pringles at your nearest Asda or Tesco.

TopCashback notified The Sun that the offer is no longer valid.

How do cashback sites work?

THERE are plenty of cashback sites that let you earn money while you shop online.

If you go to a cashback provider, such as TopCashback or Quidco, you'll see a list of providers where you can earn cashback.

It works by tracking your clicks using cookies.

You usually only get cashback if you visit a retailer via your chosen cashback site.

Some of the websites have different levels of membership. Some are free, but others have a monthly or yearly fee attached.

Make sure you shop around to see which site is offering the best deals as some may offer more than others.

They're great for things that you were always planning to buy, but you shouldn't purchase something just because of the cashback or buy something at a higher price because the more expensive retailer has a better cashback rate.

Over time, you could make a fair bit of money, but you have to be careful not to rely on it - there's nothing to guaratee when cashback will appear or if you'll receive it at all.

Cashback should usually show in your account after seven working days, but with travel or financial products it can be as long as six months.
