The maker of the snacks, CSM Bakery Solutions, said it has "taken the precautionary step" of recalling one batch of the over the salmonella risk.

Salmonella is a type of severe food poisoning which can cause a fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps.

It can last up to 72 hours.

The affected batch was only sold at Iceland. No other supermarkets have stocked the treats.

If you are unsure if you have bought one of the affected packs, look for the lot number "18 285" printed on the label.

The Food Standards Agency, which sent out an alert about the recall, advised consumers not to eat the treats if they've bought a pack with the salmonella risk.

Customers will be able to return any pack with a February 9 best before date for a full refund, even without a receipt.

Earlier this week, Asda recalled packets of its frozen Smooth Mashed Potato over fears it may contain gluten, which could trigger allergic or intolerance reactions.

The ice creams contain dairy and almonds, which could trigger allergic reactions, but this isn't made clear on the label.

We've put together a list of the most recent product recalls which shoppers are being asked to return to shops for a full refund.
