Black Friday 2021: Is Asda taking part and what deals are there?
ASDA is bringing back its Black Friday deals after steering away from the bargain bonanza in previous years.
The supermarket first started doing Black Friday in 2013 but ditched it in 2015 after it sparked violence among shoppers trying to snap up the best deals.
Instead, the food chain, which is owned by US-giant Walmart, decided to focus on "lower prices all year round".
But it decided to take part in Black Friday season once again last year, offering deals on home accessories, baby products and more.

When is Black Friday?

Black Friday has become the biggest shopping day in the calendar, with thousands of bargain hunters bagging deals online and on the high street.
It falls on the Friday after the US annual Thanksgiving holiday and this year it will be on November 26.
The day usually marks the start of the Christmas shopping and shoppers have been known to make the most of the Black Friday sales to bag presents for less.
When is Cyber Monday and will Asda be taking part?
Cyber Monday lands on November 29 this year, with plenty more online-only deals available following Black Friday.
Asda hasn't confirmed if it will be taking part in Cyber Monday this year.

What can we expect from Asda's Black Friday deals?
Asda will be taking part in Black Friday this year - but it hasn't always.
Just two years after bringing the tradition to the UK in 2015, Asda stopped running the event.
But in 2018, it launched its own day of November deals and called it the "Green is the New Black" event.
In 2019, it ran a "Roll Back" event with savings across tech, homeware and fashion.
Last year, Asda brought back its Black Friday sale and put dozens of goods on offer through its George brand, which sells toys, homewares, clothes and electronics.
This year, shoppers will be pleased to hear Asda is taking part in Black Friday once again.
Some deals have already been listed on before Black Friday has even started.
Judging by these deals on offer, shoppers should expect to see discounts on gadgets, toys, homeware, clothes and more.
Asda's pre-Black Friday deals
Asda has already started reducing products under its Black Friday sale, even though the Black Friday sale doesn't start officially at other retailers until November 26.
Some products are better than half price off in its pre-Black Friday deals section.
The retailer has promised to slash prices on "latest gifts and technology" during this year's event.
