Aldi now does a microwaveable 99p sausage and hash brown breakfast muffin
The muffin consists of a sausage pattie, hash brown, cheese and ketchup - and it can be enjoyed after 70 seconds in the microwave
ALDI has just launched a sausage and hash brown breakfast muffin - and it costs only 99p.
You can gobble it up after only 70 seconds in the microwave, so if you don't normally eat breakfast due to a lack of time, this could be the meal for you.
The muffin combines a sausage pattie, hash brown, cheese and ketchup, and it's available in Aldi stores from today - but customers won't be able to buy it online.
The Sun has asked the discounter to clarify how many calories are in each muffin but we haven't yet heard back. We'll update this article once we do.
It's not the first microwaveable breakfast muffin to be sold by supermarkets, but it seems to be the first one to include hash browns.
Tesco currently sells Rustlers' breakfast muffin with a sausage patty, cheese and tomato for £1, while the same product can be picked up at Morrisons for £2.
Or if you want one with eggs, Asda is selling a microwaveable muffin for £1.
Meanwhile, McDonald's is selling its sausage and egg muffins for £2.29, or £2.69 for one with two sausage patties.
