BEN & Jerry’s annual Free Cone Day is coming back, and it's the perfect chance for ice cream fans to nab a free scoop of the frozen dessert.
But when and where can you get your hands on the freebie? Below's everything you need to know.
What is Ben and Jerry's Free Cone Day?
Ben & Jerry’s has held Free Cone Days as a way to give back to its customers since 1979, which was then a celebration of its first year in business.
Ben & Jerry's opened its first scoop shop in a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vermont in the US in 1978.
In 2010, countries all over the world started participating in the tasty event, and now more than one MILLION free scoops are distributed across the globe each year.
A spokesperson for the ice cream giant said: "Every time you enjoy a scoop of Ben & Jerry’s, you’re showing us how much you care.
"We love you too, and Free Cone Day is our favourite way to show it!"
When is Free Cone Day?
This year’s ice cream extravaganza will take place on Tuesday April 9 between 12pm and 8pm.
If possible, you should consider taking a bit of time out of your day to dedicate to the event.
We all love a good freebie, so there will undoubtedly be a bit of a queue for the free cones.
Where can you get a free ice cream cone?
Free cones with one scoop of ice cream will be handed out at a number of Ben & Jerry's locations across Britain, including 30 of its own standalone shops as well as cinema concessions.
Not all scoop shops will be participating in the event, so make sure you check first before getting your hopes up and making the trip to the store.
You can find your nearest participating ice cream venue by visiting the official - you'll need to enter your postcode and tick the "Participate Free Cone Day" box.

Ice cream fans are spoilt for choice in terms of flavours during the promotional event.
In fact, all 16 flavours are being offered, including some of Ben and Jerry’s much-loved varieties.
