McDonald’s is bringing back Cadbury Flake McFlurries with raspberry sauce
MCDONALD'S Cadbury Flake McFlurries are back meaning that summer is officially here.
Both versions of the popular puddings are on the menu from today to keep you cool from the weekend's mini heatwave.
The Cadbury Flake chocolate is made from dairy ice cream mixed with chunks of the chocolate bar and chocolatey sauce.
McDonald's Flake raspberry version is the same only drizzled in a sweet, fruity sauce instead.
The fast-food chain first launched the flavours last year, when it also silently shrunk the amount of ice cream you get in a tub.
Both snacks are available in a mini size, which cost 99p, or regular priced at £1.39.
When it comes to calories, the raspberry version contains slightly less at 324 compared to 355 in the chocolate one.
The mini sizes weigh 75g compared to 150g for the regular versions so they contain half the calories too.
You'll be able to pick up the desserts at your nearest McDonald's store from today - alongside the Malteser and Smarties flavours that also launched yesterday.
The two fan favourites have been added to the menu permanently but it means McDonald's has axed Dairy Milk and Crunchie flavours to make room for them.
McDonald's has also ditched plastic lids on McFlurries in an attempt to help the environment.
It hopes to remove 485 metric tonnes of plastic a year by redesigning its ice cream and salad packaging.

But some fans have pointed out that the pudding still comes with a plastic spoon.
Last week, we reported that McDonald's is also getting rid of the fiery buffalo chicken wrap because it's "too spicy" but replaces it with a milder Hot Cajun Chicken one instead.
Meanwhile, McDonald's workers have revealed their thrifty secrets to bagging discounts and secret menu options.
