Mothercare launches HUGE clearance sale with prices starting from £1
MUMS and dads will be thrilled to know Mothercare has up to 86 per cent off baby and toddler clothes and toys in a massive clearance sale, with prices starting at just £1.
Parents can save big at the retailer both online and in store with prices also being slashed on shoes and pushchairs.
Prices start at as little as £1 for bodysuits and socks and you’ll be able to find discounts on popular cartoon characters including Peppa Pig.
The sale has already started online and we noticed a lot of sizes have already sold out so you’ll need to be quick if you want to nab a bargain.
Delivery for online buys starts at £3.95 for orders under £50 or it's free for orders over £50. Alternatively, you can click and collect in store for free.
If you’d rather browse in store, you can use the to find your nearest branch.
Sale items in store will only be available while stocks last so it’s worth making the trip soon to get a good deal.
Of course, just because something is in the sale that doesn't make it a good deal so always compare prices elsewhere first.
Here's what you can expect from the Mothercare sale.
'Part time dino' bodysuit
• Was: £7.50. Now: £1. Save: £6.50 (86 per cent) –
Perfect for the little man in your life, this bodysuit features black and white stripes with grey sleeves and dinosaur scales on the back with the words "part time dino" on the front.
It comes in sizes ranging from new baby to nine to 12 months.
Similar dinosaur-themed bodysuits are being sold in a pack of five at Sainsbury’s for £7.50, which works out at £1.50 each - so you're saving 50p at Mothercare.
Blue ditsy smock dress and bloomer set
• Was: £22. Now: £3. Save: £19 (85 per cent) –
This sweet smock and bloomer set comes in a floral print in soft pinks and blues with frilly sleeves with buttons on the back for minimal fuss when changing.
You can buy this in sizes ranging from new baby to 12 to 18 months.
This is the cheapest we could find a floral smock dress when we looked online.
Blue polka dot dungarees and bodysuit set
• Was: £18.50. Now: £3. Save: £15 (83 per cent) –
Another good buy for young kids, this adorable two-piece set comes with a white long-sleeved bodysuit and a pale blue polka dot dungarees.
It comes in sizes ranging from new baby to 12 to 18 months.
This is the cheapest we could find blue dungarees for babies when we looked online.
Shark blue trekker sandles
• Was: £14. Now: £7. Save: £7 (50 per cent) –
These cool sandles come in blue with a shark face on the sole and strap and better yet, Mothercare says they’re slip resistant to minimise falls.
You can buy these in kids' sizes four to 11.
Next does a similar pair of sandals with a shark design but these will cost you £16.
George pig sun protection keppi hat
• Was: £7. Now: £3.50. Save: £7 (50 per cent) –
Peppa Pig fans will be delighted by this blue keppi hat which features George pig holding a dinosaur and the word “Roarsome” on the front.
Parents can buy this in sizes three to six months to six to eight years.
We couldn’t find another Peppa Pig hat at a better price at the major supermarkets.
Baby safari two in one playnest
• Was: £40. Now: £15. Save: £25 (61 per cent) –
Bright and colourful with plenty of exotic animals to entertain your little one, you can use both sides of this playnest depending on the age of your child.
One side has a baby seat for younger babies who can’t quite support themselves yet and the other has a hollow centre to encourage sitting.
Argos is selling a similar playnest for an almost identical price of £14.99.
Tutti Bambini arlo chrome travel system
• Was: £825. Now: £395. Save: £426 (51 per cent) –
This versatile pushchair includes multi-position functions, such as parent or world facing for your little one.
Parents can purchase this in a range of colours including charcoal, liquorice, midnight blue, poppy and oatmeal.
This discount seems to be doing the rounds across all the baby accessory retailers as other websites have also slashed the price of this stroller to the same price as Mothercare.
