When is the Greggs festive bake back in 2019?
FOR many of us, the Christmas period doesn't properly start until Greggs' festive bake is back on sale - and now we can reveal when it will appear in shops.
Die-hard pastry fans only have to wait until the start of next month to get their hands on the treat, as it will land in shops on November 7.
The good news is that Greggs is bringing it back one day earlier than last year, when they launched on November 8.
The bakery chain also today revealed that fans can vote for their home town to get the Christmas pastry first - but there's only 20 cities to choose from.
Greggs first announced the return of the festive bake back in August.
One user said at the time: "One of the most important days of the year in my book! Festive bake - It’s a taste sensation!!"
While another added: "I can’t wait! You can’t beat a festive bake anywhere anyhow!"
And a third one joked: "Oh wow that means my baby is coming in 104 days. Not sure what’s more exciting..."
If you've somehow never tucked into one of the much-loved lattice pastries, they contain pieces of chicken breast, sage and onion stuffing, and bacon in a creamy sage and cranberry sauce.
It also has a crunchy crumb coating on top.
The bake isn't the healthiest option around at 451 calories - but we expect its fans won't care much about that.
It'll be back on sale for the same price as last year, £1.50.
Greggs will also launch the rest of its full Christmas menu on the same day as the festive bake but further details of this are yet to be announced.
Last year, the festive menu included turkey, bacon and cranberry rolls as well as Christmas sandwiches.
If you're a real festive bake obsessive, you can count down the days until it's back on shelves by checking .

Greggs is also bringing back its pumpkin spice latte and it's almost £1 cheaper than Starbucks.
And it's about to test late-night opening hours as well as introduce a dinner time meal deal.
It also plans to open 100 new shops this year as the launch of its vegan sausage roll has helped the chain boom.
