A-Level results 2019: where to get free food including Nando’s, KFC and Bella Italia
CALLING all students – get your hands on free food today if you bring your A-level results letter to selected restaurants.
Participating food spots include Nando’s, KFC and Bella Italia, which all have a tasty treat for budding university students.
Mexican food joint Chiquito and American diner Frankie & Benny’s are also on board, celebrating A-Level results day.
So whether you’re celebrating your results or drowning your sorrows – there’s a meal for everyone who took the exams today.
To qualify, you’ll have to have your results slip with you – so keep it safe no matter what you scored.
It’s handy to have your student ID on you too – if you have one – as places such as Chiquito are asking to see this too.
We’ve explored the different deals and rounded-up what you can bag for free from each restaurant.
Nando’s – free quarter chicken or starter
The Peri-Peri eatery is back with its freebie for A-Level students.
Each year, Nando’s rewards students with a free quarter chicken, which it’s doing again this year. Without sides, this would set you back £4.10.
This time round there’s also the option of getting a free “Fire-Starter” – one of Nando’s appetisers.
So you can enjoy some grilled halloumi, pitta and red pepper dip or hummus and avoid the usual £3.95 to £4.10 cost.
All you need to do is show your results slip at the counter when ordering today. To find your local branch, use the online.
It’s worth noting that Nando’s is also offering this food freebie to GCSE students next Thursday (August 22).
KFC – free chicken and fries
Bring your A-Level results letter to your local KFC today and walk away with a free snackbox.
There’s nothing like the Colonel’s original recipe chicken and fries to pat yourself on the back or console yourself, depending on what’s on the results slip.
The catch? You do have to buy a Krushems milkshake, which costs £1.99.
Given that the snackbox itself is £1.99 too this one is only really worth it if you fancy some ice cream or if you’re adding the snackbox to a larger order.
If you’re craving the original blend of herbs and spices as your results day treat, find your
Bella Italia – free ice cream sundae

Celebrating students can get a free ice cream sundae – but you have to order a main meal too.
But Bella Italia does have some great offers on its menu, including 25 per cent off mains, and you can combine this with your free sundae deal.
Each person wanting a free sundae will also have to show a , which will be emailed to you. You also need to have a read of the T&Cs too as there are some timing and location restrictions.
Good news – Bella Italia is also extending this offer to GCSE results-holders next Thursday (August 22).
Find your
Chiquito – free main
Give it up for Chiquito which is giving away an entire main for free to congratulate results-holders.
You can get a free tortilla dish at the Mexican restaurant – worth up to £13.79 – just by showing your results slip and student ID.
Choose between a chimichanga, enchilada, tacos or a burrito and you have until August 17 to enjoy this one.
The offer is also valid for GCSE students between August 22 and 24.
Chiquito does offer 25 per cent student discount but this is not valid in conjunction with the A-Level results freebie.
now for your free main meal.
Frankie & Benny’s
The American-style restaurant is also giving away free meals to students holding a results slip today-only.
Bring your letter when you dine in and order a bottle of coke or a pint of Budweiser and have your main meal taken off the bill.
Mains cost up to £13.89 at Frankie and Benny’s so this is also a good deal, considering you’d probably order a drink anyway.
The offer is only valid today – to find out all the T&Cs – you can also unlock a range of other offers.
Be careful though – the offer only works on 10″ pizzas, pastas (but not the risotto) and the following burgers: classic beef, classic cheese, bacon and cheese, “The House Special”, classic chicken, “The Smoky Beet”, and “Viva La Vegan”.
to grab your free food.
Despite exams apparently getting easier, lots of students have done less well than expected in their results today.
You don’t need to be a student to try it but last month, KFC introduced the “Hacker” burger – an off-menu finger lickin’ good new burger.
If you’re looking for another way to make a saving, Iceland is selling its own version of a Nando’s-style meal and it’s cheaper.
