Maltesers is bringing out WHITE truffles for Christmas and we can’t wait
CHRISTMAS is still another four months away but Maltesers has just got us excited by launching WHITE truffles.
The chocolate giant rolled out a milk chocolate version to much fanfare last year, and it's soon getting a tasty sibling.
Once again Maltesers fans don't need to worry about the flavours straying too far though - each treat still contains the familiar honeycomb and chocolate combination.
But in a taste twist they have a new creamy truffle texture.
The white chocolate version will be sold exclusively at Tesco for £4.99 per 200g pack.
They'll roll out in the supermarket's stores as well as online on September 9, Maltesers told us.
The exciting product launch was first shared by Instagram account , and judging by the comments the truffles may fly off the shelves.
One user said: "Where has this been all my life?!!"
While another wrote: "Omg your fave and my fave in one."
And a third one simply stated: "Lord of god looool."
Maltesers couldn't share the calorie count when contacted by The Sun but we expect it to be somewhat similar to the milk chocolate version which contains 565 calories and 48g sugar per 100g.
Same-sized boxes of these are currently on sale in all of the UK's big four supermarkets for another penny at £5.
But you can also pick up other sizes, with one weighing just 54g costing £1.50 at .
Or you can get a larger 336g box for £7 at .

Earlier this year, Asda started selling a giant Maltesers cake which you can smash open to reveal more treats.
While a year ago, Maltesers revealed that the sphere-shaped chocolates were going to change to buttons.
Its owner Mars has also shrunk the pack size of the treats by up to 15 per cent but it kept the prices the same.
