Costco is selling huge gin advent calendars that include 24 mini bottles of booze
GIN fans can get in the Christmas spirit early this year as Costco has already rolled out advent calendars with 24 mini bottles of booze.
Including big gin names such as Beefeater, Hendrick's and Sipsmith in 50ml (5cl) bottles, the festive calendar could be the perfect way to celebrate the lead up to the big day.
At 50ml, the mini bottles are twice the size of a shot and are the perfect size to give you a taste of the gin.
There are also some quirky flavours, such as J.J. Whitley's pink cherry and violet gins, as well as liqueurs with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 20 per cent and gins with ABVs of around 40 per cent.
But the calendar comes with a hefty £59.89 price tag, so it isn't the cheapest way to get your gin fix.
We looked at the cheapest price on all standard-size bottles included in the calendar, and worked out that the cost for 50ml of each one would amount to just £39.37 in total.

Of course, you'd pay more to buy large bottles of all the gins - a 700ml bottle of the gins included in the calendar will set you back between £9.99 and £38.99 each.
So the calendar could be a cheaper way for you to explore gin-tastic tastes before plumping on your favourite.
Although, keep in mind that Costco is a wholesaler and you can only shop there if you're a member.
An annual online shopping subscription to the retailer costs £15, while it's £33.60 if you want to spend in store.
In other words, if you're just signing up to take advantage of this one deal then you'll need to carefully consider whether it's worth it. You can sign up online .
The calendar is available both on and in stores. You can find your closest one using .
