It’s available from £2.25 as part of the new menu that launches in stores from September 5.

Costa is also bringing back its bonfire spiced trio, which includes a latte, hot chocolate and cold brew.

The coffee company says the popular brew gives fans a “taste of autumn” with a caramel toffee flavour, spiced cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and ginger, all topped with caramel and extra cinnamon.

The bonfire spiced trio was first introduced last year and remains at the same price, starting at £2.95.

The autumn menu is available until October 31 when the coffee chain will start making room for its Christmas range.

Costa began selling its winter selection of hot drinks and cakes from the start of November in 2018.

Last year Costa was among a string of coffee chains that came under fire over the amount of sugar used in their drinks.

It was found the bonfire spiced hot chocolate contained 36g of sugar, far more than recommended by NHS guidelines which say adults should have no more than 30g of sugar a day.

Addressing the criticism in 2018, the coffee chain said it only served the bonfire spiced hot chocolate in a small size.

But this year the bonfire spiced trio is available in primo and medio cups.

When we asked Costa for the sugar content, they told us the hot chocolate contains 34.8g, for the latte it's 24.6g and the cold brew contains 15.5g.
These are all for the primo size and with semi-skimmed milk.

As well as its new menu, Costa has also confirmed its lunch deal will now run from 11am to close.

There's also new items on the menu, including a bolognese mac and cheese which'll cost from £3.95.

The lunch deal let's customers choose a sandwich, panini or soup, with a snack and a drink for £4.95 and was previously only available from 11am to 2pm.
