Poundland shoppers are loving a £1 oven cleaner that’s better than Oven Pride
POUNDLAND shoppers are going wild for a £1 oven cleaner that’s apparently even better than Oven Pride – and a fraction of the price.
One happy customer was full of praise for the Poundland alternative and said it left her oven “like new” with “no elbow grease” required.
She even went as far as saying the cheaper spray is “far better” than the pricier brand.
The is a third of the price of Oven Pride, which currently retails at £3 in .
Just like Oven Pride, the Poundland cleaner comes with a bottle and bag to remove dirt and grim from racks and grills.
There's also gloves included which must be worn at all times while handling the chemicals.
The Poundland find was shared by shopper Mary Rafferty on the group.
She said: "I normally use Oven Pride to clean my oven but saw this in Poundland and decided to give it a go."
Her post has been liked almost 200 times by fellow bargain hunters who were impressed by her results.
One said: "I use oven pride so now I'm gonna try this too!"
While another added: ";I use this all the time for my oven cleans."
Oven Pride claims it's the UK's number one oven cleaning brand and says its product "tackles tough grease and burnt-on food" to give "unbeatable results".
