Disneyland Starbucks does a purple and green Maleficent frappuccino that tastes of blueberries and matcha tea
DISNEYLAND is officially getting into the Halloween spirit with a spooky Maleficent-inspired frappuccino only available at Starbucks stores at the park.
The purple and green drink is available until October 31 and is sold exclusively in Starbucks stores at Disneyland Florida and Disney California Adventure Park.
The colourful drink is made by blending blueberry juice and diced dragon fruit with a vanilla bean cream base.
It’s then topped with green matcha whipped cream for that truly villainous look.
You can grab a Tall version of this evil frappuccino for $5.19 (£4.22), a Grande for $5.69 (£4.63) or go all-out with a Venti for $6.49 (£5.28) - and that's before any park discounts are applied.
Instagram account was one of the first to review this tantalising new drink.
They wrote in a post: “I’m not really a frappuccino person... but even I enjoyed this. I love the matcha whipped cream.”
The Maleficent frappuccino is definitely Instagram-worthy with plenty of fans sharing snaps of them enjoying their drink in the park.
User @disneylandfood_ also claimed that this drink can be made at Starbucks stores outside the park with a few small changes.
They added: “PSA from a Starbucks barista: we can make this drink for you at any store (minus the matcha whipped cream), but please make sure to tell your barista exactly what is in this, as it is not an official drink.”
Starbucks stores are also selling another seasonal drink called the Dr. Facilier Elixir, which is a layered chai tea and lemonade iced drink topped with a splash of passion fruit tea.
This refreshingly evil drink is also only available at Starbucks stores at Disneyland Florida and Disney California Adventure Park.
