McDonald’s is bringing back its CHEESE sharebox but this time with cheese and herb melts
MCDONALD'S is bringing back its CHEESE sharebox as a permanent item on the menu.
The fast food giant tested the sharebox during last year’s FIFA World Cup but now Maccies has revealed the cheesy treat is back and here to stay.
The new box contains three portions of cheese and herb melts – but only for six weeks, starting Wednesday (September 25).
After that, the flavour of the cheesy bites will be changed with each food promotion.
The cheese and herb melts are made from a blend of Emmental and mozzarella cheese in a herb-infused breadcrumb with a tomato dip.
They've been absent from the menu for over a year so fans will no doubt be thrilled by their return.
In case you missed it, McDonald's recently unveiled a new Galaxy salted caramel McFlurry, available from next week.
There was a big shake up this summer when McDonald's brought back Smarties and Malteser McFlurries permanently by axeing the Dairy Milk and Crunchie flavours.
Meanwhile, McDonald's workers have revealed their thrifty secrets to bagging discounts and secret menu options.
