Aldi reveals Back to School uniform package for just £5 with two polo shirts, one jumper and trousers or skirt
Parents will be able to pre-order the full uniform package from July 8 and it will hit stores on July 12
GERMAN budget supermarket Aldi has unveiled its new Back to School range and its nothing short of an absolute bargain.
Mums and dads up and down the country will be able to snap up full uniform packages for as little as £5 as early as eight weeks before the new term starts.
The budget-friendly package consists of two polo shirts, one school jumper and either a pair or trousers or a skirt and covers all kids aged 3 to 11.
Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi, said: “All parents will be familiar with the annual uniform dash and we’re here to help reduce the back-to-school hassle, without breaking the bank.
"We strive to offer our customers the best possible deal and, this year, the products in our £5 uniform package are better than ever before, offering even higher-quality products at the lowest possible price.”
The £5 uniform deal breaks down as: One round neck sweatshirt (£1), a two-pack of plain white polo shirts (£1.75) and a pair of trousers or a pleated skirt (£2.25).
Parents will be able to pre-order the uniform packs online from Sunday, July 8.
The full collection will be available in Aldi stores from Thursday, July 12.

Aldi’s Specialbuys Back to School range also features PE kits, bags and shoes, as well as stationary and workbooks.
Budget uniforms are a lifeline for cash-strapped parents across the country.
Low income families are also able to apply for up to £150 towards school uniform costs for their children, although acceptance of an application is at the local council’s discretion.
