Moment driver confronts traffic warden caught parked on double yellow lines – but council insist she did nothing wrong
A TRAFFIC warden was confronted by an angry driver after he spotted her parking on double yellow lines – but the council has defended her move.
The female parking officer was filmed by the fuming motorist as she returned to her white Peugeot 108 hatchback in Slough, Berks.

She had been walking back towards her car in the middle of her shift when she was captured parking partly on double yellow lines and part on the kerb.
The blue-haired inspector ignored the angry driver as he filmed her, asking: “Why are you parked on double yellows?”
She replied telling him to ask the council as she got back into her car, and blanked him as he continued to quiz her.
He said: “Hello, ask the council?” before adding: “OK what is your badge number?” on Tuesday night.
The man filmed her motor on the parking restriction lines and continued: “Parked on double yellow, yeah.
“Oh here we go, evidence. Now she is running away, running away now.”

Parking on double yellow lines is illegal and can lead to a £70 fixed penalty notice fine.
But Slough Borough Council have defended their employee, saying that she had not done “anything wrong”.
A spokesman said: “Our civil enforcement officers - parking staff - are entitled to park on yellow lines when they are on duty so they can do their jobs quickly and safely.
“The lady in the video is not doing anything wrong.”
However she was blasted by locals in Slough for failing to set the right example for those parking in the area.
Queenie Olynie said: “These wardens should be setting an example, this is disgusting behaviour.”
Another fumed: “She gave me a ticket, whilst parked on double yellows herself.”
One added: “This is the same stupid woman that gives you tickets at the school.”
