The fastest ways to de-ice your car revealed as temperatures drop and snow hits the UK
STORM Corrie will continue to bash Britain just days after Storm Malik posed a "danger to life" in parts of the UK.
The Met Office has put out three weather warnings, including an amber warning, as unsettled weather continues to cause problems across the country.
With snow potentially on its way next month, it is important to know how to keep your car ice free.
And if you are in a hurry in the morning, you need to be able to do it quickly while still make sure your car is safe.
Here are some tips.
Switch on the engine
Start the engine and turn on the warm air blower onto the windscreen.
Switch on the front and rear windscreen heaters and heated mirrors, if they're available.

This will help melt the ice on the outside of the car from the inside.
Ensure you stay with the car if the engine is running.
Check your wipers
Make sure the wipers aren't on before switching the car on.
If wipers are frozen to the glass, the wiper motor could be damaged or the rubber could tear off if they start wiping.
Instead, make sure the wipers can move freely by removing any ice from the windscreen and around the base of the wiper.
Clear the windows
Don’t use hands to wipe misted-up windows – it will leave greasy smears and you could scratch the glass with any jewellery.
Use a lint-free absorbent cloth if necessary, or turn the air conditioning on in the car if possible.
This will remove moisture from the air to stop the car misting up.
Sweep off the snow
Clear all the snow off the car using a brush.
A soft brush is good for clearing the front grille, which will prevent the engine from overheating.
Scrape while you wait
Use a scraper and de-icer on the outside of the car while waiting for the inside to warm up.
Focus on windows and mirrors, and make sure all headlights are clean and working.
To make your own de-icing solution, you can mix three parts distilled vinegar and one part water and place the mixture into the spray bottle.
Give the bottle a shake, and then it can be sprayed onto the windscreen. Leave for around five minutes before scraping the ice off.
Unfortunately there are no specific laws around minimum or maximum working temperatures for employees, although there are guidelines.
