Drivers left baffled by extremely small spaces at car park as they struggle to fit their vehicles in
DRIVERS have been left baffled by a car park's TINY spaces.
The minuscule bays are barely big enough to fit half a car in them.
Miffed motorists joked you would only need to pay half the price for a ticket, as hilarious snaps show one car squeezed in with its back wheels and boot hanging over the line.
Others said drivers should try shuffling into the small spaces at Belle Vue Short Stay car park in Saltash, Cornwall, sideways.
reports locals fumed about the pint-sized spaces on the town's local Facebook group.
It also said Cornwall Council failed to respond when quizzed about the teensy bays.
One wrote: "Bet you get fined for parking over the lines."

Another added: "Does this mean you only have to pay half the parking fee?"
But others pointed out the smaller spaces might be used for motorbikes and smart cars.
The British Parking Association says off-street bays should be 2.4 metres by 4.8 metres long.
However, the association adds the dimensions "may be revised to suit your particular needs, but remember that good access and wider bays aids efficient use of the parking area".
