I was shocked to find a note on my car saying my blue badge had been reported – even though I’m disabled
A DISABLED driver was left in disbelief after a shocking note warned her blue badge had been reported.
Helen had displayed her badge on her windscreen at Heaton Park in Manchester before going for a walk to help the pain in her back.
The mum, from Bury, Greater Manchester, has had numerous spinal surgeries and has nerve damage in her legs, reports.
But on Sunday, she was shocked to find a "narrow-minded" passer-by had aggressively penned her a message in block capitals and left it on her car.
The note read: "Your BB has been taken and reported to the ticket office."
Helen has since hit back at the "ignorant person", insisting they have "no idea" what her circumstances are.
She told MEN: "Just because I’m young and not in wheelchair doesn’t mean I’m not entitled to a blue badge.
"They obviously saw me, saw that I'm in my 40s, walking away.
"And I just thought they've got no idea what my circumstances are."

Helen also recently lost a friend to cancer and she had a blue badge too.
"What if I had been her, and I was here to take my last walk ever, and I came back to this message?" she said.
Sunday's note wasn't the first time Helen had been confronted about her blue badge.
She said people always stare at her in the Tesco car park - and she confronts them when they do.
On one occasion, she said someone asked her if she was using the badge of a dead relative.
And another time, the mum - whose son has autism and used to have a blue badge too - claimed a man called her a f***ing b***h when her boy was around six years old.
She shoved the badge back at the man, but on Sunday, there was no opportunity for her to respond to the note.
Helen said whoever left it has "absolutely no life".
