The OAP pulled into a nearby car park - run by I Park Services - so she could quickly jump out to pick up the slip she needed in Wadebridge, Cornwall.

Linden couldn't park further from the pharmacy because a recent cracked ribcage injury has left her struggling to walk.

Despite only stopping in the space for less than two minutes - Linden was slapped with a £100 parking fine.

She contested the fee with I Park Services, but the firm won't back down.

Linden told : "I’m just so angry and I want to make things difficult for this company and I want people to know.

"They really ought to have some sort of 20-minute latitude and they don’t and I think it's time someone held them up for that.

"Imagine I had been a single mother on benefits trying to get medicine for my baby."

While Linden was in the carpark for four minutes and nine seconds driving in and out of her spot - she was only stationary for less than two minutes.

The pharmacy had her prescription ready to pick up on the counter.

Once she grabbed it, she got straight back in the car.

Linden is refusing to pay the fine, and has vowed to take the matter to court.

The Sun has contacted I Park Services for comment.
