My neighbour parks TWELVE cars on our street and we’re struggling to find a space – what can I do?

They asked other motorists on Reddit what they think they should do about their neighbour parking up to 12 cars on their street.

The post was uploaded by Reddit user SlackDaddy_G and begins: 'I'm pretty sure that nothing (legally) can be done about this situation but I thought I'd post this on the off chance.

'Parking is at a premium where we are so a lot of the time me and my GF, as well as my other neighbours, end up parking far away, or parking dangerously just to get a space.

One said: "You will want to talk to your local Council about the excessive parking and potentially wrongly-zoned business."

While another had prior experience, saying: "My next door neighbour used to do the same.

"One day about 4 council tow trucks turned up and took 8 of his cars and they made it clear they were coming for the others. He quickly moved the rest.

"It seems enough of the local residents had complained about the utterly excessive use of communal parking spaces."
