Watch as woman has her car towed away but refuses to back down – resorting to shocking measures

A WOMAN whose car was being towed away refused to back down and what she did next has amazed people.

The video was uploaded to Twitter on the SocialDrive channel and people in the comments couldn't believe what they were seeing.

The video has reached fifty thousand views on Twitter already.

The incident took place in Sao Paolo, Brazil and starts with the woman running to get back her car after realising that it was going to be towed away.

But rather than accept it, she then climbs inside and starts to shout at the drivers of the tow truck.

Instead of calming her down, the two workers decide to carry on towing away the car.

Vehicles nearby stopped to witness the event - one stops for a few seconds to see what was going on.

Other drivers frustrated about having to wait are heard shouting.

In Brazil, cars can be towed away when breaching a parking restriction or causing an obstruction.

Sao Paolo is the sixth most congested city in the world - which makes parking very difficult.

The fine for not parking a car in the correct place is approximately  £14.

People in the comments were amazed by the woman's decision to jump back into the car.
