Someone stole my parking spot – so I unleashed petty revenge… I don’t care what people think

A DRIVER has revealed the "petty revenge" he took when a woman stole his parking spot.

The lab technician said he has a single designated parking space at the hospital where he works.

He said the spot is reserved for him because he needs to be on call for any emergencies.

The fuming driver, a Frenchman living in the US, took to to share how he got his own back when he found another driver parked in his spot.

He said: "I arrived one morning just before 9.45am, and drove to my reserved parking spot - but it was taken.

"I hadn't agreed to share the spot with anyone and I didn't recognise the car."

The driver revealed how he got his own back in an act of petty revenge for the parking-space affront.

He decided to park across the front of the bay, blocking the woman in.

The driver thought nothing more of it until the lab secretary received a call at 4pm.

He said: "It was a lady wondering why there was a car parked in front of her.

"I was in the middle of a complex procedure in a sterilised room with a controlled atmosphere, so I couldn't just leave what I was doing."

The furious woman, another hospital worker, complained to various colleagues until one of them said they would call security and get her car towed if she persisted.

She ended up waiting nearly two hours before the lab technician left the sterilised room at 5.30pm.

He said: "I changed myself as slowly as possible, took the time to get everything in order and let everyone known in the building I was going out for five minutes.

"It could have been worse because my shift ended at 7.30pm that evening."

Fellow Americans on Reddit were all supportive of the driver's petty revenge, with many describing the woman in highly derogatory terms.

One said: "Screw her! Lazy parkers suck."

Another said: "That was an awesome story."

Hospital parking in the UK is tightly regulated and you should make recourse to car park operators in the event of a dispute.
