Cars most likely to pass or fail their MOT tests revealed – is your motor on the list?
EXPERTS have revealed a new list of the cars most likely to pass or fail their MOT tests - leaving drivers shocked.
Government data analysed by comparison site GoCompare shows which cars perform best and worst across millions of yearly MOT tests.
The VW T-Roc has the highest pass rate of any motor on the road, completing nearly 95% of tests.
Not far behind is the Audi Q2 and Toyota C-HR, which both pass 94.4% of MOTs.
Two Vauxhall models, the Viva and Crossland, have a pass rate of 93% and 92% respectively.
At the opposite extreme, the Peugeot 307 has a pass rate of 67.9%, worse than any other car.

The Ford Focus C-Max is almost as unreliable, passing only 68.49% of tests.
Despite two Vauxhall models making the top five best MOT performers, the car maker's Vectra and Tigra models were two of the five motors most likely to fail an MOT - with respective pass rates of 68.6% and 69.9%.

In between them comes another French vehicle, the Renault Modus, which passes only 69.5% of MOTs.
All of the five worst performers are Noughties rust buckets which have now ceased production - but older models from the 1980s and 1990s surprisingly have a higher pass rate.
GoCompare's analysis also found that electric and hybrid vehicles out-perform ones powered by petrol or diesel - which both fail two in five tests.
Motoring expert Ryan Fulthorpe told : "The diversity in pass rates across different manufacturers and models of cars certainly suggests that some vehicles are more primed to pass their MOT than others.
"While it’s something to consider when choosing your next motor, the make and model is unlikely to be the only contributing factor to its passing performance.
"Drivers should be aware that they can minimise their chances of MOT failure by conducting simple checks at home and proper year-round maintenance of their vehicle.
"Although the yearly MOT may seem like a stressful and costly part of owning a car, it is vital to ensure that the vehicles on Britain’s roads are safe."
It comes after experts revealed a new list of banned number plates, following the launch of the new "23" plates for vehicles - with many naughty words on the list.
