A MASSIVE classic car collection is set to go under the hammer after it was discovered in a barn.
The impressive collection of 230 cars - featuring a 1953 Mercedes, Aston Martins and Ferraris - is believed to be worth millions.
The stunning hoard of vehicles belongs to recluse businessman Ad Palmen and was discovered in two barns in the city of Dordrecht in the Netherlands.
Ad - who owned a motor accessory businesses - built up his collection over the course of 40 years, the reports.
The beautiful cars were collecting dust after Ad, 82, was moved to a care home last year following a dementia diagnosis.
Still in prime mechanical condition, the amazing fleet of cars includes a 1955 Lancia Aurelia B24S Spider America worth over £600,000 and a 1953 Mercedes W188 300S Roadster worth £440,000.

Carlo te Lintelo - of the Gallery Aaldering in Brummen which will auction the collection from May 19 - said no one would ever know how or why Palmen obtained the cars because he was now too ill to speak.
"There isn’t any family. It’s a sad story. He was on his own. He didn’t have relatives and a very small group of friends.
"We know very little about him or why he collected the cars over four decades.
"We can’t speak to him. We would love to ask him. We can’t ask, sadly.
