My £35k Insignia was driven 100 miles and returned dented after I left it with an airport parking firm – I’m fuming
A WOMAN claims that her £35,000 Vauxhall Insignia was driven 100 miles and returned dented after she left it with an airport parking firm.
Monika Waga, 35, from Nottingham, left her car for a week with a meet-and-greet parking firm at Gatwick Airport before flying to Santorini.
But on her return, she discovered that her car was dented above the rear light and the petrol tank gauge was showing around a quarter less than when it was left with the parking firm.
She booked the meet-and-greet service with My Parking Limited through the comparison website Ezybook.
Monika told the Sun Online: "I was left in shock when I saw my car. The driver who delivered my vehicle refused to sign that my car was damaged.
"When I got into the car, the first thing I asked him was ', what has happened to my car' and he answered, 'I don't know'."

Monika explained that she met with the driver at Gatwick airport parking - and as soon as she paid for the ticket, the driver disappeared.
She continued: "I contacted the parking firm before leaving Gatwick airport car park, and I was told that the driver doesn't speak English and I needed to send them an email with pictures.
"I also asked about petrol as a quarter of my tank was gone, and they told me that in the confirmation email it appears that they can drive up to 45 miles.
"However, I can't locate that information there. When we left them our Vauxhall, the car had half tank of petrol, but when we picked it up, it had a quarter.

"I suspect they used my car while I was on holiday."
Monika regrets not checking the reviews online before leaving her car with this meet-and-greet parking firm - and is now considering reporting it to the police.
A spokesperson from My Parking Limited said: "When a vehicle is delivered back to the customer, they check their vehicle and sign the delivery paper.
“We have signed paperwork by the customer that his car was delivered to him in the same condition it was left with us.
"I am happy to share that paperwork, but due to data protection, I can only share that paperwork with the customer."
