NEIGHBOURS driven mad by reckless parents blocking roads on the school run have fought back to punish the culprits.
They were left livid after irresponsible mums and dads parked on double yellows and 'school keep clear' markings during the school run.
The "dangerous" behaviour outside ten schools in Walsall, West Mids, saw the council hit back with a series of tactics to deal with the scourge.
These included rolling out static cameras, mobile camera cars and enforcement officers tackling yellow line parking.
More than 1,000 fines have now been slapped on the parents' windscreens during the summer term alone.
School streets are also being implemented, which will see roads closed at drop off and pick up times.

The Department for Transport confirmed to that Walsall Council has been granted moving traffic enforcement powers allowing CCTV to be used to catch lawbreakers.
These will come into full effect at the start of the new year in September.
Councillor Pete Smith, who helped bring forward the measures, said: "This is welcome news in the most extreme cases of dangerous parking and obstruction.
"I am pleased that the council has confirmed that it considers dangerous parking around schools is a serious issue."
