He said some cars don't have air-conditioning - but there's an option for those

In most cases, there is already a feature on your car for doing this, as Scotty explained.

The defrost setting turns your heater and air conditioning on to both warm the cabin and dry out the air, preventing the windscreen from fogging up.

However, Scotty has a tip for what to do if your air-con is broken or your car doesn't have any, which plenty of classics don't.

He revealed that you can use shop-bought rain repellent to deal with the issue.

The spray is usually used on the outside of the windshield to maintain good visibility in wet conditions or on paintwork to prevent it from becoming water damaged.

However, if you put some on a cloth and wipe down the inside of the glass with it, it will stop fogging up in the cold.

Scotty advised: "Get rain repellent, spray it on the windshield and clean it all off.

"The repellent will repel a lot of the fog."
