I drive an EV because it makes me feel superior in every way – I look down on petrol drivers
A MAN says he looks down on petrol drivers as using an EV makes him feel superior in every way.
The motorist, who owns a Ford F-150 Lightning electric pick-up truck, listed three reasons why you should also buy an EV.
Posting on TikTok, he said: "With very few moving parts, it's much easier to maintain an EV pick-up than its petrol counterpart.
"Two, recharging your EV pick-up truck costs a fraction of what it costs to refuel a petrol truck."
But the man, from Vancouver in Canada, said the real reason why you should get an electric motor has little to do with practicality.
He said: "Number three, ego. Driving an EV pick-up truck will boost your ego to estate agent levels.

"It allows you to look down on petrol drivers, knowing that you're superior in every single way.
"Yes, it's an EV pick-up, and yes, I am a real estate agent - thank you very much.
"As a matter of fact, I do feel superior. You would feel superior too if you owned one.";
Not everyone was convinced by the driver's smug praise for his electric pick-up truck.
