I set up a side hustle when I was just 14 – now I earn £3,500 a WEEK and work with Premier League stars

A TEENAGER has revealed how the car detailing business he set up when he was 14 now nets him thousands a week and sees him mix with Premier League stars.

David Herodotou, 18, was just trying to earn some extra cash during the pandemic but has seen his enterprise grow beyond his wildest dreams.

The young entrepreneur now earns up to £3,500 a week through detailing, along with his own car dealership and a number of side hustles.

He told The Sun Online: "I was always good academically but I have bad ADHD and just messed about at school.

"I was on the verge of getting expelled and I just wanted to make some money washing cars during Covid.

"It just got big on ... it's got a lot bigger recently."

After years of hard graft building his brand, he can now proudly claim to have worked on the motors of megastars.

A highlight so far has been detailing a £298,000 Rolls-Royce Cullinan owned by Arsenal centre-back Ben White.

David added: "That was 100% the best one I've done.

"He's a very interesting character.

"He's so chill, he doesn't really realise how big he is."

He has also worked on motors for Luton Town midfielder Alfie Doughty and left Ferraris worth over £2 million sparkling, saying it was a "big thing to be trusted" with such precious vehicles.

On top of his detailing work, David runs a luxury car dealership and provides business owners with training on gaining better exposure on social media, which has apparently taken off since his own success started to snowball.

He recalled: "I was 16 and I had grown men paying £100 to talk to me about their social media.

"It was quite humbling.

"One of the guys I trained even went on and did Tyson Fury's car."

Altogether, he estimates that he earns between £1,500 and £2,500 in an average week but the figures have only been going one way in his "biggest ever year".

Just last week he netted a whopping £3,500 and expects a "spiralling effect" as more eyes are drawn to his work.

It comes after a collection of luxury supercars, including an ultra-rare Ferrari, was announced for an upcoming auction.

Meanwhile, a driver was mocked on social media for making an awkward blunder at an EV charging station.
