The iconic and much-loved motor, often lauded as Europe's answer to the Ford Mustang, is renowned for its classic styling and sports car appeal.

, this 1981 Capri - a favourite among car collectors - is currently set to sell for just over £7,000, with the auction's final day coming on December 15.

According to the auction site's specialists, this Capri has been extensively restored by the previous owner - including a completelt rebuilt 1,593cc engine to go with its 4-speed manual transmission.

It also comes in a gorgeous Prairie Yellow finish along with a tobacco vinyl roof and stunning interior - complete with authentic 1980s cloth seats.
