The J7 will include a unique blend of AI technologies and off-road capabilities all housed inside a very stylish body.

It will major in interior technology along with both hybrid and all-electric vehicles.

The J7 plug-in hybrid would likely have two electric motors and a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing a combined 197 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque.

Acceleration stands at eight seconds for a 0-62mph sprint.

JAECOO says the J7 offers “a driving experience that is both capable in all terrains as well as refined”.

The J7 boasts an imposing grille and a massive, blocky appearance.

Victor Zhang, Chery International spokesperson, told that the new model will be on sale by June 2024 and the UK dealer network is in the process of being set up.

Jaecoo also boasts a global five-star safety rating because of its “energy-absorbing, cage-like structure” combined with a number of active safety features.

A sizable sunroof, an interactive head-up display, panoramic imagery, and numerous other multidimensional cockpit technology will be included in the cabin.

There is also a 540-degree panoramic imaging to aid in tight parking and heated and ventilated seats plus a coolbox area under the central armrest.

The pricing is yet to be confirmed but based on its counterparts, it could be anywhere between £35,000 to £45,000.
