One-of-a-kind Range Rover developed by Noel Edmonds to be ‘mobile office’ with phone system & printer hits auction
A one-of-a-kind Range Rover developed by Noel Edmonds and designed to be a "mobile office" has hit auction.
The swish 4x4 is rumoured to have had a development budget of £450,000 and uses tech supplied by the telly star's company, Unique Group.
Produced in 1997, the P38 HSE Autobiography model was used as a "pilot/testbed" for the new design and was used by electronics giant Sony as a promotional vehicle.
It features a dual phone, HP printer setup, laptop station, VHS system and web-cam, making it perfect for the busy exec on the go.
Once Land Rover took the car out of service as a show vehicle, Edmonds himself bought it to save it from being dismantled.
Since then, it has had several further owners but only clocked up 86,000 miles.

Considering its uniqueness and celebrity connection, it's almost amazingly cheap.
The highest and, currently, only bid stands at just £10,000.
And auctioneers at only estimate a top price of £16,000.
However, they do state that most vehicles in the current auction will require "some light recommissioning" and asks customers to "assume that your new purchase will need trailering away".

Viewing is by appointment only and the successful buyer will need to collect the car from its storage space in Crewkerne, Somerset, about 40 miles south-west of Bath.
Classic car enthusiasts will have to be quick as the sale concludes at 6pm on January 3.
