‘It’s pretty perfect’, cry fans of custom-built camper truck kitted out with full bathroom and even a washing machine
It comes as Brits move into campers to save money on bills as the cost of living sees millions struggle
A CUSTOM built camper truck with military grade wheels, full wet room, washer and dryer has been hailed the “perfect” van life vehicle.
The F550 from Rossmönster, a company that specialises in creating the best campers for adventuring the great outdoors, has impressed with its practical and stylish features.
In a video uploaded to their channel, expert Philip gave potential campers a tour.
He walked through the exterior highlights, which included a massive Buckstop bumper, cradle mount winch attachment and custom storage boxes.
The truck, with fibre glass-composite shell, boasted Continental MPT81 41 inch tyres on “an absolutely fantastic” military grade three-piece beadlock wheel.
Meanwhile, an “extremely intelligent” liquid-spring suspension system was designed to create the “optimum” ride.
It even allows drivers to raise and lower the vehicle by about eight to 10 inches, added the camper whizz.
At the rear of the vehicle, more gear storage space can be found alongside an exterior shower.
A whopping 120 gallons of fresh water is able to be stored underneath the truck for plumping and drinking supply.
Philip said: “The interior design features maple slab door cabinetry, we’ve also got some fantastic Slate Paperstone countertops.
“The dinette coverts into another sleeping area, it has dermax upholstery custom cushions.”
With a touch of a button the table moves down and levels with the rest of the seating area, meaning campers simply have to add an extra pillow and they have a large sleeping space.
Plus, there is both a washer and dryer neatly tucked away behind cabinets in the kitchen area.
“The galley features great storage underneath with a dual slide out refrigerator,” added Philip.
There’s a generously sized sink with flip out 20 inch countertop to create extra prepping space, and two in one propane fuelled stove for cooking.
In the living area, a tiny wood burning stove provides warmth and creates a cosy atmosphere, along with the dimmable lights overhead.
“We’ve also got a full wet bath which is brush aluminum walls with a stainless steel pan, composting toilet, and fully adjustable shower head,” continued the camper expert.
Passengers can enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep in the queen size bed, which comes with plenty of storage, two windows and skylight.
Fans were impressed with the custom build and hailed the project in the comments.
An excited viewer penned: “This is a pretty perfect build, checks all the boxes with internal bike and ski storage, wet bath, fireplace heating option, etc.
“Hopefully I’ll be ordering it one day.”
“Finally a design with bicycle storage. A truly fantastic build, wood stove and just everything I would want,” agreed another.
Someone else wrote: “Beautiful build. Absolutely stunning inside and out.”
“Wow. I could leave home and never come back in that rig. Beautiful,” commented a fourth.
It comes as many people are making the same jump into vanlife.
Some Brits are embarking on the same journey to save money on bills as the cost of living sees millions across the nation struggle.
A man who made the bold move said he loves the freedom of going off-grid – and escaping the cost of living crisis.
Paul, aka, The Off Grid Nomad, was fed up being left with just £100 to play with at the end of every month amid soaring bills.
The proud “lorry life” community member now travels across the British countryside in his ex-military converted truck.
Meanwhile, another couple converted an old van into their dream tiny home on wheels.
Tom and Iz, known as the Lost in Transit duo on social media, share what life is like living on the road.
Another woman revealed she lives in a van and absolutely loves it because she can travel and save money.
Vin said she doesn’t care that people call her “homeless”, and enjoys the lifestyle.
And a family of four had the same idea and ditched everything to live in a van.
