The luxury brand's latest release will drop on February 12 - hot on the heels of the new DB12 grand tourer.

It is projected to have a starting price significantly higher than the current Vantage, which sets buyers back around £134,000.

According to bosses at the British manufacturer, the new Vantage's look will reflect its "complete hooligan" billing.

“The next Vantage can separate from a DB12 [coupé] with huge performance and a DBX [4x4] that feels like it. It has to be completely different,” chief creative officer Marek Reichman .

“The replacement for the DBS will then be “completely different to both of them.”

Product and market strategy director Alex Long added that the sleek new Vantage will offer more versatility on the road.

"We'll see in our sports car and GT range much more breadth and separation between one end and the other, where today they're quite similarly positioned," he said.

"We'll see a much broader operating range."

A number of tweaks are expected with the updated Vantage, including a smaller grilled, smoother lines around the vehicle's front end and a reworked splitter.

However, the car's chassis is expected to take inspiration from the V12 Vantage - ensuring high speeds.

It comes after news that an incredible collection of Aston Martin racecars in a variety of eye-catching colours are due to go under the hammer with a price tag of £350,000.

The V8 Racing Collection is a series of seven 2010 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupés celebrating Aston Martins racing heritage.

Each V8 Vantage is liveried in one of the team's iconic colours and boasts less than 500km on the clock.

Notable amongst the collection is a V8 Vantage in the bright green livery known as 'Kermit'; the name affectionately given to Aston Martin's Nürburgring 24h race car.

Another highlight is the 'Gulf Oil' colours model, the orange and pale blue livery which has graced some of the most well-known racing machines worldwide.

Elsewhere, Manchester City star Jack Grealish was recently snapped making use of his DBX motor.

Treble winner Jack sported a black cap and had his eyes on the road as girlfriend Sasha Attwood drove him into Etihad Campus.

Grealish has a lavish car collection and his latest motor has a top speed of 193mph, and can do 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds.
