Dusty abandoned Only Fools and Horses three-wheeler van found in a barn now selling for £6k

A DUSTY abandoned Only Fools and Horses three-wheeler van found in a barn is set to fetch £6,000.

TV fans throughout the 1980s watched Derek 'Del Boy' and his younger brother Rodney drive the iconic yellow motor.

And now, a lucky bidder has the chance to include the historic relic to their collection.

The vehicle was found gathering dust for years in an abandoned barn off the road.

The Reliant Regal is very similar to the one featured in the BBC sitcom cult.

The supervan is branded with the character's company Trotters Independent Traders.

And it boasts the original number plate "DEL BOY".

The seller, from Stourport-on Severn, is offering the vehicle at a bargain price as it needs desperate restoration.

They said: “These vehicles and parts are getting really hard to find for restorations.

”This is a great opportunity to purchase for a restoration as it has all of its original parts that are hard to find.

”Original mirrors are still intact, badges still intact, lights and lenses and chrome trim, intact engine.

“You will probably need a complete rebuild a left-hand drive bare rolling shell with no mirrors, door handles, no interior, and rotten chassis.”

The front headlights are significantly damaged and has been covered with duck tape.

Inside the van, the floor is covered with green mould and there is rust over the gearstick and steering wheel.

However, the owner claims the car has "all of its original parts" - including mirrors, badges, lights, lenses, and engines.

Car enthusiasts can snap up the vehicle for only £6,950.

It comes as car fans were treated to an inside look into a driver's bizarre three-wheeled motor collection.

The collector has spent years amassing the cars... and among them is a Del Boy classic from Only Fools and Horses and an ultra rare Bond Bug.

Another yellow 'Del Boy' van was found in a collection of abandoned cars.

A replica of the popular car also went up for sale.
