pure style and class

We review the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante (2013) from price to economy and all its features

I MANAGED only a short drive in the Vanquish Volante but I can tell you this is one of the most stunning soft-tops money can buy.

And you’ll need plenty of money – because it comes with a price tag of £200,000.

The Volante is Aston’s beauty to the Vantage’s beast but it’s no slouch when it comes to performance.

It takes just 4.1 seconds to go from 0-62mph and 183mph feels exhilaratingly quick with the roof down.

Fuel economy of around 20mpg – that falls to around 10mpg if you drive the Volante hard – will slightly wipe the smile off your face. But if you can afford a £200,000 car, you are not that bothered about the price of fuel.

The Volante is a motoring statement of pure style and class, very much the best of British.
