FORMULA 1 legend Jody Scheckter’s spectacular car collection which includes a rare classic is set to go on sale in an auction.
F1 fans with deep pockets will be eager to purchase some of the rarest classic cars still around.
The car which secured Jody’s World Championship is just one of many incredible motors up for auction in Monaco.
The 1979 Ferrari 312 T4 is estimated to sell for between £4.5million and £5.5million, with the whole collection estimated to go for around £11million.
Among Jody’s incredible collection of F1 cars, a rare classic road car is also expected to wow petrolheads at the auction.
The 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ is a stunning motor previously owned by a Scuderia Ferrari driver.
This will be the only road car available at the auction.
Other classic F1 cars up for auction include a 1973 McLaren M23, a 1971 McLaren 19a and a McLaren 1972 M21.
There will also be a chance for F1 fans to get their hands on a glorious 1975 Tyrell 007 and a remarkable six-wheeled 2008 Tyrell P34.

Nonetheless, the star of the show will undoubtedly be the 1979 Ferrari 312 T4.
This was Enzo Ferrar’s last Formula One Divers’ World Championship-winning car.
Jody won races at the Belgian, Monaco and Italian Grands Prix, which earned him the driver’s title.
The world championship car has remained entirely in its original condrion right down to its original seatbelts and numbered components.
This auction presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire a World Championship-winning Ferrari directly from its driver.
Some of the other classic F1 cars made by Tyrell were engineering masterclasses of their time.
Few contractors achieved as, much success as the German manufacturer did in the 1970s.
It produced some of the most memorable cars of the period, with few as unique as the 1975 Tyrell 007, which Jody finished third in at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
It’s estimated that it will sell for between £555,000 and £760,000.
The McLarens on offer at the auction are considered some of their greatest models, with the 1973 McLaren M23 arguably the best-looking sports car, according to .
This super F1 car also brought the team their first constructors’ championship title as well as two drivers’ championships.
The 1973 McLaren is expected to go under the hammer for between £1,490,000 and £1,900,000.
