A RARE Ford Capri has been discovered among a haul of hundreds of motors in an abandoned car graveyard as petrol heads beg for it to be saved.
The presenters of hit YouTube show Yorkshire Car Restoration unearthed the treasure trove of motors in a old barn in Scotland.
The experts were enthusiastic about an old Ford Capri which had been left to rot inside the barn.
The owner told the presenter that he bought the Capri because he "wanted the back springs."
The presenter praised the Capri's fibre glass wings, but added that the old motor was "well beyond restoring."
He added: "Apparently the car will start but we are not going to try that today."
The next on the list was a Porsche Boxster, which the owner snapped up for £800.
The owner said that his daughter crashed the car on a local track, damaging the front end.
And there was an abandoned motor around the corner, which left the presenter a bit baffled.
He said: "Yeah right so what's this little gem that's tucked in the corner?"

The owner explained that the motor was a Reliant Kitten, which probably dated back to the 1970s.
The old motor was similar in appearance to the Reliant Regal van made famous by Del Boy in Only Fools and Horses. The owner said he was given the motor after his neighbour died.
Next up was an old Westfield, which the owner said he bought for the parts.
He said he bought it as a track day car to have some fun in. He then built it up and actually raced it and won a succession of hill climb sprints in Scotland during 1984.
The next on the list was old BMW saloon. The owner's daughter explained that her dad bought the car to do up, but he sadly died.
She said her brother got the car back on the road and took it to an event.
The presenters then discovered an MR2 in the graveyard which had been rotting away for around eight years.
The owner explained that he bought the motor to cannibalise for the parts.
Car lovers appeared to be frustrated by the footage of the abandoned cars.
One said: "Places like this fascinate and frustrate me in almost equal measure."
Another said: "Those cars deserve better. Such a waste. Good luck with the build of the one you saved!"
And: "It must be great to buy cars ,and then leave them to rot away in a field, incredible."
Another said: "Must the most heartbreaking thing I've seen in ages. Poor cars deserve better."
