A CAR expert with over 50 years of experience has revealed how a cheap household item can banish horrible smells from your motor's air conditioning.
Your car is perhaps the best place to be in this summer thanks to nearly all modern motors boasting an AC unit.
However, drivers should clean their system regularly if they want to prevent a weird smell from coming from the vents.
Thankfully, much-loved YouTube star has revealed a simple way to do this - using a simple household spray that you might already have at home.
He said: "There's mould and bacteria lurking inside your dash because they like cold, damp places - so that's what you need to clean.
"The easiest way to clean it is to turn the AC on full blast."

The expert mechanic then explains that air is being sucked into the car through vents located outside the car at the far end of the bonnet, below the windscreen.
Scotty explains: "Air is being sucked in here through the air intake, so you spray it in there.
"The cleaner is then sucked in and goes through the whole system and out the vents, cleaning everything."
Scotty suggests rolling your car's windows down and standing outside your motor while this process takes place, as the smell inside can be rather strong.

He also suggests leaving the AC on for around five minutes as the spray works through, before leaving your car to air dry for an hour.
The product "is mainly ethyl alcohol, it kills the bacteria so you no longer have to breathe it in.
"They breed really fast so in the summer you might have to do this every so many weeks to keep it away," he added.
A spray disinfectant like this can be picked up reasonably cheaply online - this , for example, is less than £3.
This comes as drivers learn how to make their AC colder and save £100s in fuel with a five-minute check.
And Scotty also revealed how washing your car at home could "ruin" it and leave you paying out £100s in repair bills.
