A CAR expert has revealed three used luxury motors that are available for under £10,000 - including a Maserati.

Drivers looking to get their hands on luxury cars usually purchase used models as they can be a lot cheaper.

However, there are a few motors which are as special and popular as the BMW 5 series, according to experts at .

A six-year-old 520d diesel can cost less than £12,000 in today's market.

There are models available for a fraction of their original price but any driver who gets behind the wheel will have to look after it well if they want to avoid a costly repair bill.

A 2008 4.2-litre V8 with around 84,000 miles is on offer for £6,499, according to Autocar.
