A HUGLEY popular EV is now thousands of pounds cheaper after a big price drop, while the range has been boosted to 354 miles.
Customers can now pick up the award-winning model for less than £40,000 brand new.
Hyundai has now unveiled the revamped Ioniq 5 with two new variants on the market.
Each has seen its power boosted from 58 kWh and 73kWh to 63kWh and 84kWh respectively.
These larger batteries have also brought a range bump, with the smaller unit offering 273 miles and the larger 354 miles at the top end.
There has also been a mild overhaul of the design to provide better comfort.

A more rigid chassis will apparently reduce rolling vibration inside the cabin, while extra sound insulation will mute road noise for drivers.
On top of that, the safety systems have been upgraded, with a refined lane assist feature and an alert if the driver's hands come off the steering wheel.
Inside, new LED lights have been added, while a shortcut button has been introduced on the centre console.
This is designed to allow users to access their most commonly used gadgets, including heated seats and parking assist, in an instant.

However, perhaps the most significant addition is a feature that fans had been clamouring for but that had only previously been available on the premium N version of the model.
The standard Ioniq 5 will now include a rear windscreen wiper, particularly necessary as sales grow in the UK.
Despite all the new features and improved range, the model has actually seen its price slashed as Hyundai hopes to stoke extra demand, according to .
The base model price has been cut by £3,455 to just £39,900.
The higher spec version is an added £3,500, meaning you can now get hold of one for just £45 more than the base version was at the start of the month.
It comes after the world's second-largest EV brand announced it would launch three new models in the UK next year.
