THIS is the horrifying moment an idiotic Audi driver received a harsh "reality check" after braking suddenly in front of a truck.
Dashcam footage captured the David vs Goliath moment but, unlike in the story, the smaller of the two very much lost out in this case.
In the video posted to YouTube, the black Audi SUV can be seen travelling ahead of the camera, which gives the perspective of the lorry.
The vehicles are travelling along a single carriageway on what looks like a slip road.
Data from the camera displayed on the screen suggests that the HGV is travelling at just under 30mph.
While this is not verified, it is clear that other traffic is moving substantially faster in the outside lane.

As the vehicles pass under a bridge, a white hatchback goes to overtake the 4x4 on the outside.
It is not clear whether the car was indicating to pull back out in front of it, but its presence appears to startle the Audi driver.
They brake sharply and suddenly, coming almost to a complete stop in the road.
This leaves the truck almost no time to react and sends it smashing into the rear of the Audi at about 26mph, according to the dash cam.

The two collide violently, with the impact completely crumpling the latter's boot.
Its rear windscreen was also shattered, sending glass flying into the rear of the car, and the back bumper was caved in.
Thankfully, it appears that nobody was in the back seats at the time of the crash.
It is not known if anybody was injured but the Audi manages to put its hazard lights on and pull over in a safe place up the road, with the driver opening the door to get out as the clip ends.
Commenters were quick to defend the truck driver even though they went into the back of another vehicle.
One wrote: "That's not a brake check, that's a reality check."
Brake checking, where you brake suddenly to try and force the driver behind to slow down, comes under dangerous driving as a criminal offence and can carry an unlimited fine and up to two years in prison.
Another added: "I remind myself every time I grab the car keys, that I should expect the worst from people.
