A SUPER saloon with enough speed to match a BMW M3 can be yours for under £4,000.
Petrolheads looking for something that's a little bit unique with four doors and space in the backseats - but with some extra added oomph thrown in - could seek out the stylish Vauxhall Insignia VXR.
The Insignia was a big seller for Vauxhall until it was discontinued in 2022, and at its peak rivalled the likes of the Ford Mondeo and the saloon version of the Volkswagen Passat.
While the standard model was the brand's flagship family saloon, a sporty VXR badged version was also created with a beefy 2.8-litre V6 engine.
Available as a five-door hatchback, four-door saloon or as a sports tourer estate, the Insignia VXR is an entirely different beast with race car looks and a limited speed of 155mph - the same as a BMW M3.
The VXR iteration sat 15mm lower to the ground compared to the standard model, and comes complete with a sporty cutaway in the front grille and 20-inch bespoke alloy wheels.

Inside, there's a leather-trimmed sports steering wheel and Recaro racing seats, combined with plenty of leg-room in the back and a sizable 530-litre boot (or 1530 litres with the tourer estate).
For car fans interested in buying a bargain super saloon, the Insignia VXR can be found for under £4,000.
In fact, we were able to pick out a 2009 model for just £3,995 on the website with under 102,000 miles on the clock.
This example appears to be a great condition, was recently serviced and even comes with two keys.
