AN ultra-rare Rally Fighter which appeared in a Fast & Furious film has hit auction for a whopping £60,000.
The unique motor was first produced thanks to a crowd-funding drive but found its way onto the silver screen in no time.
With a design based on the P-51 Mustang fighter plane, the Local Motors Rally Fighter looks like the muscular offspring of a luxury SUV, a dune buggy and a monster truck.
The manufacturer was only founded in 2007 but turned out the first example of the model within 18 months using money sourced from the public.
Only 100 were ever made, with each having design input from its buyer, meaning every single one is unique.
In 2013, this example made a starring turn in the Hollywood action blockbuster Fast & Furious 8: The Fate of the Furious.

In the film, it is driven Letty Ortiz, played by Michelle Rodriguez, as she and the other stars fight to stop a mysterious anarchist known as Cipher, later revealed to be Charlize Theron.
It's even available as a playable car in a number of Grand Theft Auto games as a tribute to the beloved franchise.
After its big screen debut, Rally Fighter number 55 was returned to a street legal spec, but the owner chose to retain some of the minor bumps and scrapes it picked up on set.
It also features a skid plate, bumper guards, front and rear tow hooks and LED headlamps.

Under the bonnet, the car is "wonderfully overstuffed with muscle and suspension", according to the listing on .
Much of that muscle comes from the supercharged small-block V8 borrowed from Chevrolet, while the bespoke suspension cushions even the roughest roads with an impressive 20in of travel.
And you don't just get the motor for your money as buyers will also receive a framed film poster and a die-cast model of the vehicle signed by Letty herself.
That may go some way to explaining why it's up for a guide of around £60,000.
No date for the auction has yet been confirmed so fans will have to keep an eye out on SBX's website.
However, the previous sale is ending on September 4 so it's expected to be soon after that.
It comes after a one-off supercar so rare that there were "doubts it even existed" went up for sale with a seven-figure asking price.
