The GTi hot hatch has only done 300 miles since the 69-year-old comedian bought it three years ago.

Rowan Atkinson is said to own a £12million fleet of supercars

The white motor has pepper-pot alloy wheels, a 1.6-litre engine and goes from 0 to 60 in under nine seconds.

Its interior, which petrolhead Atkinson is said to love, has cloth bolsters and bright red velour carpets.

The 1989 Peugeot with 71,000 miles on the clock, is expected to fetch up to £20,000 on September 28 at Classic Car Auctions of Leamington, Warks.

However, it will be small change to the Johnny English star, said to own a £12million fleet of supercars, including McLarens, Bentleys, and Rolls-Royces.

A Classic Car spokesperson said: “The 205 GTi has always been one of the defining ‘Hot Hatches’ of the 1980s and 1990s and held in high regard.

“But it’s becoming increasingly hard to find one in such good order, even more so with celebrity provenance.”

“Rowan is known to be particularly fastidious when it comes to looking after his cars and this delightful little 205 GTI is no exception.

“With a number of other vehicles in his collection, the little Peugeot has only covered 300 miles in his ownership and consequently is being offered for sale.”
