Her success in real estate set the stage for her future television career.
She said: "I got started in real estate at 21 which led to selling houses which led to flipping houses which led to TV.
"Now while I never wanted to be on TV, stepping out of my comfort zone and into the unknown has always been my thing."
Christina's breakthrough came on the Home & Garden Television (HGTV) series Flip Or Flop, which she co-hosted with her then-husband Tarek El Moussa.
The show, which ran between 2013 and 2022, followed the duo as they bought run-down properties in Southern California, renovated them and sold them on for a profit.
The show's success catapulted her into the spotlight and established her as a prominent figure in home renovation television.

Relationship with Ant Anstead
Christina's relationship with Ant Anstead began after her divorce from Tarek El Moussa.
The couple's whirlwind romance led to their marriage on December 22, 2018.
They tied the knot in a surprise "winter wonderland" ceremony at their home in Newport Beach, California.
Kids
Christina and Ant welcomed their son, Hudson London Anstead, on September 6, 2019.
However, their marriage was short-lived and the couple announced their separation in September 2020 — less than two years after their wedding.
Christina has three children in total.
Her eldest, daughter Taylor, was born on September 22, 2010, with son Brayden, arriving on August 20, 2015.
They are her kids with ex-husband Tarek.
Taylor and Brayden often pop up on her HGTV shows, while Hudson makes appearances in family photos on her Instagram.
Split
The divorce between Christina and Ant was finalised on June 21, 2021.
While the reasons behind their split were not fully revealed, the couple cited irreconcilable differences in legal documents for the dissolution of marriage, US Weekly reported.
In 2020, Christina said: "Sometimes our calling is bigger than our plans. I never thought I would have one divorce let alone two.
"I never thought I would have 2 baby daddies — but sometimes life throws us curve balls.
"Instead of getting stuck in these ‘setbacks’ I choose to look at these challenges as opportunities to grow."
Husband no3
Following her divorce from Ant, Christina has continued to focus on her career and family.
She married Josh Hall in a private ceremony in April 2022 — mere months after announcing their engagement on September 20, 2021.
Prior to his relationship with Christina, he had never been in the limelight.
Josh is understood to be a real estate agent and, according to , has been working for Spyglass Reality in Texas since December 2020.
He is a California native who graduated from Quartz Hill High School in 1999, before going on to study at Santa Monica College.
On July 16, 2024, it was revealed that Christina and Joshua had filed for divorce after three years of matrimony.
